Hi from the Netherlands
Patrick Dingjan, August 14, 2008

Dear Graham and Liz,

how are you doing? Me, my dad and brother went on a tour in the mountains two weeks ago. I just have to say, that was a great experience and propably the most exciting thing I did that vacation. It was totally different compared to the road bikes that we are used to and the lack of mountains in the Netherlands, but a great way to improve riding skills. You will probably remember my brother crashing the bike in front of the guardia. He got bruised pretty bad on his belly, but no major injury. He's doing fine now and has no injuries left due to the crash. If I remember correct you should have some pictures of us. Could you please send those to me? I would love to see those. I would like to thank you for the great experience. I can´t wait to do that again some time. I wish you the best.

With the Kindest Regards,

Patrick Dingjan

Hi Liz and Graham.

Bit late with this mail but I was hoping to have some video to send over and I have not managed to sort anything worth sending. The video recorder was so new at the time of the trip that I was not familiar with the settings (mostly black and white results) and it turns out they sent the wrong mic with the kit...................unlucky!
Anyway, Many thanks for having us.

We all had a great time and found out what bad riders we were. With Your help and guidance we managed to travel through a beautiful country. Loved the scenery and if you could put up with us again, I we would to ride the hills some time in the future.

Best Regards
Mike

Dear Liz and Graham, Tim and Lisa,

Just wanted to to drop you a line and thank you for the adventure you gave me over the weekend of the third of August. The ride out from your Cion Trailblazer centre was every bit amazing as you had promised, the scenery was fantastic as the word go as was the advice Tim gave as we started our ride. As you know I hadn't ridden off-road for some time, and the confidence building from Tim never stopped all day, allowing me to become quiet adventurous by the afternoon!

What a pity more visitors from Malaga don't take up the oppertunity to ride with you. When you said I would see a different side of the Provience, I couldn't have imagened to what extent that would be true, people really do not know what they are missing, the views, the sights, sounds and smells of pine trees are something I can still almost taste when I close my eyes! The swim in the lake half way throught friday was really an unexpected bonus too!

I have told everyone who will listeb about my adventure with you and rest assurred I will be back soon as my work schedule permits,a nd will be bring friends and colleagues with me, expect a group! I don't think I have relaxed as much on holiday, althought my arms are still aching!!

Finally, just to say thank you for everything, the organization, the bikes, the safety equipment were all first class, not too mention the local knowledge provided by Tim and the trails he took me on, only one work, Spectacular!

See you all again in Malaga very soon,

I was one of a group of four guys "The Fst B'Stards celebrating Barry's pending wedding. We came over and a year last April and had two days riding. Mark threw himself off the side of one of the valleys, Barry went like the wind, Gareth broke endless brake levers, and I was foolhardy enough to be the first to jump in your pool … An action which induced considerable numbing and pain! We also meet your friends from Stockport, Sue and here hubby (was it Alan?) who joined us for the second day and a lovely meal afterwards.

Anyhow, the key reason for me sending this is to say how great the regular newsletters are, how much it keeps the wonderful memories going, and also how impressed and pleased I am with the stunning progress that you are making. The new facilities, the new packages and the new ideas are all fantastic.

Well done. You guys deserve the success that you are having and I wish you well. Whether we'll be able to repeat our experience remains in the melting pot, but if we do, you will certainly hear from us. Cheers. Martin Lawson (March 07)

Hi Graham & Liz

Just dropping a line to say thanks a million for providing the highlight of our holiday, Pete and I are still buzzing from an incredible days trail riding in what must be one of the most stunning and exciting settings around!!

I thoroughly enjoyed being let loose on that fab new Suzuki of yours (and the fact that it remained "un-dropped" at the end of the day!) and "tall" Pete really appreciated the time you took with him, given his total lack of any experience off-road. Now that his bruises are clearing up (he is showing them off proudly to all and sundry as his badge of honour) we are planning our next trip around a few days with you guys, just got to persuade the wives again.

I have to say to any one thinking about booking up, GO FOR IT! You will certainly not be disappointed, this is definitely the real thing and brilliant value for money.

Keep living the dream guys!!!

All the best
Pete Maddock

Hi Liz and Graham,

Just a quick note to let you both know how much we all enjoyed our few days
with you. Glyn and Micky really appreciated Graham's expertise, care and
knowledge of the local area. And I loved our day with the horses and the
mountains; the hotel was ideal too. I'm sure we will be returning next year
and probably for a bit longer, perhaps you will have had your riding lessons
by then and we could go out for another riding day.

We had no navigation problems getting back to the airport - just rather a
slow journey as we hit Malaga rush hour!

We'd really appreciate any photos if you get time to send them, hope you had
a quiet couple of days,

Thanks for everything,

Janet Offer, Glyn and Micky.

Hi Liz,
We are enjoying the blazing sun back in the UK. Old aching legs are slowly getting back to normality. Back to work today after a few extra days off - no gradual settling back in, just hit it head-on. Makes you realize what a rat race life has become here.

Could you also please send some of your leaflets as many colleagues have expressed interest as I relate tales of 'my' riding prowess. Daniel is also touting around his mates with a view to a return trip next year.
I attach a couple of piccies for you, some with a glimpse of 'He who holds high office'
Daniel and I must thank you and Graham for such a memorable introduction to trail riding.
Every aspect of the trip was enjoyable. Well done, keep it up.

Regards
Vini (April 2007)

WOW!!!!!

Well Liz the above pretty much describes the thoughts of myself and Mark. It is a given that we will return, could be as early as October or November this year if the guys we work with have their way. We did invite them this trip, but one was skint and the other said it was too close to the TT week, it was a toss up with myself and Mark as to which one we would do. We both agree, we have definitely had the best of the two…

Many many thanks to Graham for the patients shown during the first morning. I would really like to think we did not add to his woes, even though I don't think we were much help.

The hotel you chose was right on the mark, we were disappointed the samba and cha cha lesson was cancelled, looking forward to that!

We both agreed that at the morning rest stop on the first day we were convinced we would never return to trailblazers, by the time we were hacking back to the base on the last afternoon with stooped grins on our faces we knew it was not if, but when we would be doing it again ……. Many many thanks again to your both.
Edward Clarke and Mark Rowles (April 2007),,,,, and NO we were NOT a couple.

Dear Graham & Liz
Thank you for a most enjoyable 2 days riding in countryside that was memorable, coupled with your genuine care for customers that are old enough to know that we should behave properly when guests in a foreign country (sorry Antonio)
It is very refreshing to get what (and more ) than is promised beforehand, Graham has a passion and knowledge for motorcycling that shines through, his experience of the routes and terrain made everything safe and enjoyable.
The Hotel accomodation was great, (sorry Antonio) the travel arrangements ran like clockwork.
Thanks again for everything, sorry we didn't meet Liz, but, if you will have us back, perhaps next time.

Best wishes
Greg, Richard, Mark and Steve (April 2007)

P.S. Graham, the picture for our cramp cure will be with you soon

Hi Liz.
A short letter about shopping!!! Edit it how you want if you are going to put it on the site.
This was my second visit to Trailblazers, the first was so good I had to do it again.
Departed Bournemouth airport early in the morning on flights that I had booked myself and arrived on time to be met by Liz. After a short walk to the car we were off. Once we got on the motorway we made good time. Liz asked if I would mind if she went shopping on the way, she said that it would not take long, [women not take long shopping, yea right!!!!!]. Anyhow I was in no rush so I said it was ok with me, and there was an offer of a coffee after along by the beach.
So into the supermarket and I am in charge of the trolley, riding the trails with Graham is a lot easier, but it was all in a good cause because it turned out that the beers had run out back at the base.
Loaded the shopping into the car and went off in search of that coffee.
Back on the road again and soon got to Competa and then on to the hotel to meet up with Antonio again, this guy cannot do enough for you and his English is much better than my Spanish!!!
Two days on the trails with Graham were excellent, and when we got back to base we sampled the beers that we bought on the way from the airport, washed the dust down a treat.
If you are thinking about doing this and are undecided I would say go for it you will enjoy it. One thing though is to be honest with Graham about how much trail riding you have done, because he can take you to some "REALLY INTERESTING" places for the more experienced, or some GREAT places for the not so experienced, and you will enjoy it much more.
Hopefully there is the photo of me and Antonio with this.Speak soon.
